Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) is inviting people to a festive afternoon of Christmas fun and treats at Tucker's Grave Inn's new Parlour café.

The Christmas Fair in Faulkland on Sunday 28 November from 2-5pm in the Parlour café will help CHSW provide support and care to families of children with life-limiting conditions.

Mince pies, mulled wine and a selection of hot drinks and goodies will be on offer, with stalls from local businesses and crafts people, a Christmas raffle and children's lucky dip with a special appearance from Disney Junior's Doc McStuffin character.

"We're so grateful to Tuckers for giving us the Parlour Café for our Christmas Fair – following a truly wonderful charity cream tea event at the Inn in September. It means such a lot to our families," said Heidi Roberts, Area Fundraiser at CHSW. "Please do come along to support us and hear more about how the hospice will be helping families this Christmas – providing care and compassion, and helping to create loving, treasured memories."

"We're very excited to start the festive season at Tuckers with this fundraiser in aid of such a special charity," said Dawn Chapman, HR & Health & Safety Manager at Tucker's. "Our Parlour Café is the perfect cosy rural setting for the Fair and we hope people will enjoy spending time together, and some tasty Christmas treats all to help support families needing the charity's specialist services."

CHSW runs three children's hospices across the South West - Charlton Farm in North Somerset, Little Bridge House in North Devon, and Little Harbour in Cornwall.
