Radstock Health Centre: Messages of protest as building work starts Monday

By Susie Watkins

20th Sep 2020 | Local News

Not everyone is that keen to see work start on the new health centre in Radstock.

Two posters against the work have been attached close to the site along with an anti-building message chalked on the ground.

The signs were spotted on September 19 by Radstock Nub News ahead of work starting in the area on Monday.

The new Hope House Centre will include a GP surgery and services for children, with a commitment from the NHS that there will also be scope for carrying out minor operations. Some other services, which locals otherwise need to travel to Paulton Hospital or the RUH, will also be offered.
