Radstock In Bloom planning small celebration after winning Gold

In case you missed it the Radstock In Bloom team have won Gold in the annual floral competition, beating tougher and bigger towns to win the coveted award.

They were officially awarded their certificate last week at an In Bloom ceremony which right until the last minute was not certain to be going ahead due to coronavirus.

But Sean Fletcher from Radstock In Bloom was at the Winter Gardens to get the award - and a flag which is now hanging on the flagpole at the centre of Radstock. (We just need a bit of wind now)

The main speaker at the event was top garden designer James Alexander-Sinclair who is a judge at the Chelsea Flower show.

Outstanding School effort

St Nicholas school

Denise James Cup:

Art in the landscape

The Wheel, Radstock

And neighbouring Westfield received a nomination for.

Gordon Ford Cup, Community project for the Westfield Allotment Group.
