This year's total collected by the Midsomer Norton and Radstock Branch of the Royal British Legion was well in excess of £20,000.

Organisers told us that they have done slightly better than last year, but given the current financial climate, they are " absolutely astounded by the generosity of those who gave."

The figures still need to be double checked by the RBL but the total for 2022 was :  £20,279.27

Some figures still coming in, but that breaks down into

Street Total                                   £384.98

House to House Total                 £200.39

Donations Total                            £12,536.91

(Manned, Unmanned etc.)

Wreaths Total                               £818.25

School Total                                   £2,980.99
