Dear Editor,

Through your letters' page we'd like to thank everyone who took part in our Peasedown Party in the Park festival review last year. After every festival we always like to consult residents – asking them what they liked and what they'd like us to do better for the following year.

We've now had an opportunity to go through the feedback received and in response have put in place the following:

- Festival attendees want to see more toilets on site. We're investing additional funds in hiring more portable loos.

- Those that came want the event to be longer. We' starting an extra half an hour earlier this year – ensuring people can visit all the stalls and listen to more live music.

- The public want to know more about how the festival is funded and how we spend the money raised. In December we delivered an information leaflet to 2,700 Peasedown households giving details of how our finances work.

- The event needs more signage to prevent parking in nearby streets. We're currently reviewing all our signage with a view to spending more money on purchasing extra 'no parking' signs.

We appreciate the support we receive from the public year after year. Now in its 15th year, Peasedown Party in the Park is one of the biggest events in the region.

To keep up to date with all the festival news for this year's event, which will be held on Saturday 10th June, please visit our website www.peasedownpartyinthepark.org.uk

Thanks again,

Gavin and Karen
