Planning News in and around Norton Radstock this week

In planning news in and around Radstock this week:

Manor Farm House Nursing Home on Church Street in Radstock (under reference 20/03266/LBA) is proposing installing a lift and extending the first floor corridor, along with the erection of a dormer window.

Planners are considering an application fell three trees and cut back two others at Littlebrook House, 13A Meadow View, Radstock, Bath And North East Somerset, BA3 3QT. Reference 20/03496/TCA

At 12 Welton Road at St Anthonys, BA3 3UA (under reference

20/03442/FUL) the owners want to alter the height of garage to north and west walls to accommodate a flat deck and to replace a window with pair of glazed doors and install glass balustrade to the north and west of the house.

In Midsomer Norton the owners of 20 Rackvernal Road in Midsomer Norton, (under application 20/03497/TCA) want to fell a Norway spruce.

And at 1 St Charles Close in Welton BA3 2XA they have applied to fell four Ash trees ( 20/03536/TPO).

And a little further afield - anyone for croquet?

Camerton And Peasedown Croquet Club at Whitebrook Lane, in Peasedown St. John, have applied to relocate the old buildings and install a new prefabricated building. They also want to install a bio-digester waste water treatment system and a rain collection system and put in a low level advertising board on small sections of the perimeter fencing. Planning decisions made by B&NES this week include:

An application to build an extension and to convert the loft at 34 Stoneable Road in Radstock, ( 20/02675/FUL) has been refused.

Norton Hill school in Midsomer Norton has had its application to build a foyer extension to the existing school buildings, on Charlton Road, granted.

And further planning condition to the on-going work to the land up on Silver Street has been discharged. The site will be home to the new primary school, 40 residential dwellings, a 64 bed care home and a 15 unit age restricted sheltered accommodation building.
