Planning news this week in and around Radstock.

Glebe Cottage , on Bull's Hill, in Wellow, has applied to build a home gym in the garden of the property, details under 22/03071/FUL

Bali Hai , Bath Road, in Tunley has applied to build a storey rear extension to replace the existing conservatory. To create a loft conversion with a rear facing flat roof dormer, single storey site extension and a single storey front extension. The application under 22/03207/FUL also includes plans for vertical timber cladding to the exterior, a change of windows and additional roof lights.

While over in Hallatrow Business Park , on the Wells Road, in Hallatrow an application is in to B&NES planners for a change of use to storage or distribution (Use Class B8) for a temporary three year period with associated siting of porta-cabins and shipping containers. The application details under 22/02777/FUL has been made by True Speed Ltd.

While over in East Harptree an application is in for the discharge of condition 5 (External Lighting) and 16 (Joinery Details) of 20/00735/FUL (Conversion of existing redundant garage building into a new dwelling within the existing footprint constraints.). That work is on land adjoining Pinkers Farm on Middle Street.

Planning applications decided this week include:

Permitted, an application by 8 Sunnymead, in Midsomer Norton, to widen the existing driveway and enclose portions of garden with 1000mm high close boarded fence.

An application for a single storey rear extension (Certificate of Lawfulness for a Proposed Development). at 20 Lansdown Crescent, Timsbury, has been withdrawn.

An application for a single-storey rear extension and new porch. at Valley View , on Highfield Lane, in Compton Martin has been permitted.
