The Oakhill Inn on Fosse Road is now under new ownership.

After nearly four years as General Manager Wayne Britten has taken over as owner.

A well-loved village pub and rooms at the heart of Oakhill the Inn has consistently good reviews for its food and service.

Wayne told Nub News: " I was born in Trowbridge, have been in hospitality for nearly 15 years.

I took over as general manager at the Oakhill back in November 2017 and have run the pub with a fantastic team since then. We have gone from strength to strength.

I was given the opportunity to take it on not long after we opened on the 4th of July. I love the pub and the village. It is still uncertain times, however sometimes you just have to go for it. So that is what I have done. I have a lot of support from the village and the surrounding area.

My team and I are looking forward to the next few months and hope everyone will continue to support the pub."
