As demand for homes in the South West continues to soar, with house prices increasing by over 10 per cent at the fastest rate since 2010 over the year to June1, the South West Homebuilding & Renovating Show will be making its long-anticipated return between 20-21 November 2021 at the Bath & West Showground, to provide inspiration and ideas for people's property projects and ambitions.

A recent study carried out by the Homebuilding & Renovating Show revealed that visitors to the show were most looking forward to being able to see, touch and feel products, hold face-to-face conversations with show experts, and watch live demonstrations. In total, more than 85 per cent of attendees researched their projects throughout the pandemic but 49 per cent refrained from making online purchases relating to their projects during this time.

With so many having held off making such purchases over the past 18 months, the South West Homebuilding & Renovating Show will be hosting a wide range of exhibitors to meet the demand for the new home trends that have evolved during the pandemic. People will finally be given the chance to seek inspiration and review the quality of products in person for their future home ventures after months of internet searches and online shopping.

The show will bring together 1000s of products from over 100 exhibitors, and free daily seminars and masterclasses that will demonstrate high-quality specialist advice and services from industries including: kitchens; bathrooms; doors and windows; extensions and conversions; eco and heating; architecture; design; financial services; planning permissions and much more.

The Masterclass Theatrewill offer visitors the chance to learn more about subjects such as creating a sustainable home, choosing the right structures for a project, finding and evaluating land, and more.

For specialist advice and tips on all aspects associated with self-build and renovation, 15-minute Ask the Expert consultations are available through interactive sessions to help assist visitors in achieving and realising their property ambitions.

Experts at this year's South West Show include property expert Michael Holmes. Michael has presented over 150 property shows for the likes of ITV and BBC including 'Good Bid Good Buy' and 'Build, Buy or Restore?' He will be offering design guides at the show on home staples such as kitchens and extensions.

Also participating at Ask the Expert is property genius Jason Orme who will be hosting a beginner's session on how to build your own home. Design expert and chartered architect Allan Corfield will also be participating in the interactive session providing useful insight on how to make a home more environmentally viable.

Bob Branscombe, one of the UK's leading chartered surveyors, will be sharing his building expertise on how to manage a building project and how to handle the costs.

In addition, planning expert Sally Tagg will be on hand to offer her advice on all things planning permission such as where people can find out the tactics to a successful, straightforward planning process. People who have successfully finished a project will also be present to share their experiences with those at the beginning of their journey.

One-day tickets to the South West Homebuilding & Renovating Show are £8 in advance and two-day tickets are £12 in advance (children under 16 go free). You can buy tickets by clicking HERE: the Homebuilding Show site
