Verified as from the top designers: The local charity shop has some amazing finds

The local charity shop in Radstock has a secret - well two in fact.

The first is that they regularly get donations of some particularly top drawer clothes, shoes and most recently, handbags.

They include some amazing pieces by the likes of Mulberry, which has an operation in Chilcompton and, is that a well-known quilted designer?

The second is that all the luxury items are verified by a real-life designer, working in secret to ensure that they are indeed what the label claims to be, not just cheap copies.

So the Age UK shop in the centre of Radstock can pretty much guarantee that you are getting a genuine high end bargain.

Staff told Nub News: " We are lucky we get donations of some lovely things, we don't know who donates, but it is high end."

Radstock Nub News did ask if they could interview the designer, but for obvious reasons they would like to remain incognito. But we were told that they are local and they have worked for several of the brands which the charity shop is now stocking.

The photos show some of the stock currently on the racks and rails of the shop which is open from 10am until 4pm Monday to Saturday.

But you will need to be quick, some of the best bargains, including a rather nice handbag have already been snapped up.
