A Victorian Christmas Event

Saturday 26th November 2- 4:30pm

A free family event with Museum volunteers dressed in Victorian costume and lots of Victorian themed Christmas crafts and activities to join in with. If you or your children would like to come dressed in Victorian costume, then please do; it will add to the festive Victorian atmosphere.

Museum capacity is limited for safety reasons and when the limit is reached entry will be on a one-out/one-in basis.

Meet the miner's wife in the cottage preparing for Christmas and visit the old Coop to find out what Christmas goodies would have been on offer in days gone by. Hear traditional Christmas Carols sung by a local choir.

You can enjoy winter warming refreshments in the tearoom and find last minute unique Christmas gifts, Christmas cards and annual gift tickets in the shop.

The event is sponsored by Radstock Town Council and it will be followed by the Radstock Christmas Light Switch On at The Miners' Wheel at 5pm.

Five Arches

Publication of the latest issue of the Museum's Journal "Five Arches" has been delayed because the volunteer editor has been dealing with a major challenge in her full time job which has required her undivided attention.
