Bath & North East Somerset Council is once again providing supermarket vouchers to families whose children are eligible for free school meals over the upcoming school holidays.
Families who applied to receive vouchers from the council's Christmas scheme will automatically receive a £20 voucher for the February half term.

Radstock's MP Jacob Rees writes:
This week, the Government's announced that it is giving £50million of hardship funding to higher education providers to support students who have been affected by the pandemic.
Local law firm, Thatcher + Hallam, has welcomed a new property solicitor to the team. Farah Hussain joined the team in January this year, having previously worked for several leading 100 law firms in Bristol.
Farah's areas of expertise include the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties, landlord and tenant work and asset and share purchase agreements. She also has specialist knowledge of Islamic finance in relation to residential property purchases.

Work was today (February 8) underway starting the demolition of the Walnut Buildings at the top of Radstock.
As reported on Nub News, the buildings are being torn down ready to have new homes built on the site.

The idea of having some information boards in Radstock for local people and tourists to learn a little more about the heritage of the town, originally came from the Radstock Residents Association.
Last week, the resulting boards were installed in the town, and already many people have been seen stopping to look at them during their daily lockdown walks.
