The Radco superstore in Radstock shuts its doors today August 22 at 5pm.
The shop will be re-opening in a smaller temporary location within Radstock, as the site is demolished and work begins on a development project which is expected to take five years to complete.

Detectives investigating two armed robberies in Midsomer Norton and in Timsbury have charged a 45-year-old man.
Jimmy Young, of Withy Mills, Paulton, has been charged with five counts of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, two counts of robbery and two counts of driving a motor vehicle which had been taken without the owner's consent.

Stephen Williams, the Lib Dem candidate for West of England Mayor has urged the Government to extend the Covid eviction ban as official figures reveal that 212 families in private rented accommodation in B&NES, Bristol and South Gloucestershire are deemed at risk of homelessness.
The Liberal Democrats warned that Ministers must act now to "stop a devastating surge in homelessness sweeping across the region as we face a potential second wave of Coronavirus."

The landlord of The Dolphin Inn has contacted Nub News to correct the details on how just two of his customers have tested positive for coronavirus - and that he was never contacted by the tracking system.
Landlord Martin Spiller, who has run the pub since 2012, acted on his own accord, and told Nub News that he did: " The only responsible thing and shut the pub myself until I have all the evidence and all the people can get tested. My responsibility is to keep my staff and customers safe, so I shut it ."
A pub in Welton has closed due to 'several' positive coronavirus tests.
The pub was contacted by the Track and Trace system and closed this morning (August 20).
