A report outlining Bath & North East Somerset Council's finances, the financial impact of Covid-19 and the effect it will have on its spending plans is to go before the council's Policy Development and Scrutiny Panel on Monday 23 November.

The report is the first stage in the council's budget setting process for the coming financial year.

If anyone missed the busy Somerset Farmers' Market at The Hollies in Midsomer Norton last Saturday, then the great news is that this coming Saturday, 14th November, the markets will be running in nearby Keynsham and Frome.

This weekend (November 7 and 8) two spans of the 60 metre long, 140-tonne Bath Quays Bridge were lifted into place using a 600-tonne crawler crane.
