Churches prepare for Harvest

St John's church in Peasedown

Churches in Peasedown St John, Wellow and Shoscombe are preparing for Harvest this Sunday, due to be celebrated at a number of morning services.

Anglican churches in all three parishes, which make up the St J's Group, will be observing the Christian festival whilst at the same time following the government's coronavirus guidelines.

Thirty years old

Bath Central Library will celebrate 30 years of opening on September 28 and a call is going out to residents to share their memories of the library through the decades as part of a virtual celebration.

The libraries team will be posting on social media throughout the 'birthday' with photos through the ages, memories of staff past and present and activities for all ages to enjoy including 30 years of books, a quiz and downloadable bookmarks.
