More local people are being encouraged to book a coronavirus vaccination across B&NES as now all adult carers in receipt of a DWP Carers Allowance, or registered with their GP as a carer, can now book through the national booking service.

They do not need to wait until they are contacted.

B&NES cleaning teams have, as reported on Nub News, begun their clean up along verges and hedges along the major roads in the district.

Bath and North East Somerset Council has backed plans to expand a popular and well used local croquet club.

Last Wednesday, (February 17) the planning committee unanimously agreed to allow Peasedown Croquet Club to install a new, much larger club house – to cater for its growing number of visitors.

The leader of B&NES has welcomed news that locally all of those in the top four priority groups should have now been offered a coronavirus vaccine.
