The Bath and North East Somerset MP writes:

Last week, a vote was held in Parliament on whether to extend the food voucher provision that the Government delivered throughout the time that schools were closed during lockdown. Calling these vouchers free school meals could leave the wrong impression as no one was proposing that school kitchens provide food during the holidays. The extension was not supported by the majority of Members of Parliament.

The local mums who are helping feed the children in and around Radstock have had their busiest time so far.

These are the meals which will be heading out today (October 28) , all delivered by volunteer drivers. A total of 45 meals prepared and ready to go out.

Three way traffic lights in the centre of Radstock are likely to be in place until October 30.
