Paleontologist Simon Carpenter and his colleague Richard have an enviable knowledge of fossils, the landscapes from where they're rescued and what they began life as all those years ago.

A redevelopment opportunity in the shape of a former school and its grounds in Radstock is being marketed by global real estate advisor Colliers International.

The former infants' school closed in 2005 and the 0.89 acre site is being offered on a subject to planning basis on behalf of Bath and North East Somerset Council.

Radstock-based arts charity Creativity Works, have teamed up with Somer Valley FM to create a series of radio shows highlighting the benefits of creativity on mental health and wellbeing, and the first of the series will be broadcast this weekend.

The episode called Voices of Creativity Works, will be broadcast on Saturday 15th June at 1pm and will be repeated on Monday 17th June at 1pm.

Landlords in Radstock should ensure that they are aware of the full implications of the Tenant Fees Act 2019 which came into force on Saturday 1st June, advises Stuart Nash, owner of Stuarts Residential, a Somerset-based letting agency specialising in the management of landlords' properties.

He said: "The Tenant Fees Act is one of the biggest changes in legislation for 30 years and both landlords and tenants will need to fully understand what this means for them."
